Graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Linguistics and a Certification in Women's Studies. Then graduated from New York University School of Law in 1988. I began practice initially as an insurance defense attorney and has been representing plaintiffs since 1990.. I have a son, Benjamin, who currently attends The Gregory School and plans to attend law school and join Showard Law Firm in the future. Mr. Medina, an Arizona native, grew up in the small mining community of Bagdad, Arizona. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1989, Mr. Medina received a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellowship to attend Creighton University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1992.. Mr. Medina joined Davis Miles McGuire and Gardner in December 2017. He handles a wide variety of cases including: products liability, catastrophic injury cases, police misconduct, negligence, employment cases, class actions, medical malpractice, and other complex litigation matters. Since 1999, Mr. Medina has focused his practice on representing individuals and their families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or death. These cases often involve complex litigation against tire manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, and other large corporations.. Mr. Medina was admitted to the Arizona Supreme Court in 1993. He was admitted to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1995. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Mr. Medina has also been admitted pro hac vice in numerous states including: California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Attorney’s Information Exchange Group, and Million Dollar Trial Lawyers.
