I am primarily a business litigator. However, I have litigated a wide variety of cases including construction defect, mold and toxic tort, bad faith, medical malpractice, long-term care liability, securities fraud, personal injury, insurance defense, trade secret and intellectual property litigation. Currently my practice focuses on litigation against banks and other lenders. I have served as first or second chair in seven jury and one bench trial and have handled numerous evidentiary hearings, including an 11-day Frye hearing on the admission of scientific evidence.As a judge pro tem, I have handled civil, criminal and juvenile matters for the Maricopa County Superior Court and the Gilbert Municipal Court. I have presided over approximately 15 jury trials and two bench trials as well as numerous civil traffic hearings. I have conducted approximately 60 court-ordered settlement conferences and 5 arbitrations. I also handle arbitrations and mediations as a paid, third-party neutral.I also serve as the Chair of the firm's VISION Outreach Program in the Firm's Phoenix office.
