I was born in Ruston, Louisiana before moving to Mandeville, Louisiana in 2005, one month before Hurricane Katrina, one of the most devastating natural disasters in U.S. history. My family’s experience with criminal law issues was the motivation for my becoming a defense attorney. I have personal experience with the kind of effects criminal matters can have on a family unit both physically and emotionally.. I graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Finance in 2014. I decided I wanted a change of scenery in 2016 when I decided to enroll at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law.
