Luke K. Stanton is an attorney whose work over the past decade has entrenched him in the American cannabis industry. Originally from Northern California, Mr. Stanton’s legal career began with one of California’s top cannabis criminal defense firms where he specialized in California medical cannabis issues. He attended the University of Notre Dame and received his B.A. in Political Science in 2003. He then attended the Pepperdine University School of Law, as well as Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, the nation’s leading Dispute Resolution program, earning his Juris Doctorate and Master’s Degree in the same three years. Mr. Stanton was recently interviewed by Financial Times Magazine and the National Marijuana News, as well as by Borderline Amazing Productions for a Netflix series on drugs in America..
