Joseph Howington was born in 1951 in the state of Texas. He was educated in Southern California, graduating in 1973 from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in History and in 1974 with a Secondary Teaching Credential. Mr. Howington is a frequent lecturer as well as author of articles on family law topics. He also regularly serves as Judge Pro Tem for Los Angeles and San Bernardino County courts.. Mr. Howington and his wife Bobbie (a Registered Nurse) have been married for 33 years are parents of a 24 year old daughter, Ashleigh, a student in the Master's Program of Speech Pathology at Cal State University Fullerton..
