After high school, he moved to Florida to attend the University of Tampa where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and a relief pitcher in the baseball program.. While at the University of Tampa, Mr. Pokorny’s academic studies were in the fields of Business Management and Marketing. Outside the classroom, Mr. Pokorny interned at the United States Attorney’s Office in Tampa in the Criminal Division and worked with the Boys and Girls Club of America.
