Mr. Long is a shareholder and founder of Legal Grit, PLLC. He was born and raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Before practicing law he graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. In 2014, Jesse was recognized by Jacksonville Area Legal Aid for his contribution to the underprivileged with Pro Bono Honors for non-attorney volunteers contributing more than 100 hours of service. Mr. Long was also was a student clinician at Florida Coastal’s Disability and Public Benefits Clinic, where he aided families with disabled children obtain Guardian Advocacies through the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of the 4th Judicial Circuit, in Jacksonville, Florida. He also aided families in Disability Claims with the Social Security Administration on denial of benefits and over payment issues.. Upon passing the Florida Bar in September of 2015, Mr. Long began his legal career practicing first party insurance claims at a boutique firm in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Long successfully represented a range of clients (from large condo associations to individual residential property owners) and water mitigation/mold remediation companies in litigation against large insurance companies. His experience includes, but is not limited to, property insurance, (residential and commercial), PIP Insurance, commercial general liability insurance, and marine insurance..
