My son, Nicholas R. Galasso, and I formed GALASSO P.C. in December, 2014, and I was excited to combine my talents and experience with my son’s to provide clients with a wide and varied expertise in a plethora of legal areas.. In July of 2014, I was appointed as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney representing DuPage County Adult Protective Services, a governmental department who provides services to the elderly and protects the elderly from abuse and neglect by others. I concentrated my practice at HCG in family law and probate matters.. Prior to that, I worked at The Stogsdill Law Firm following a successful and distinguished career as both attorney and judge. Since 2007, I have been appointed by the Courts to serve as an arbitrator in divorce cases, an expert witness, I have been trained and certified as a Guardian ad Litem for the 18th Judicial Circuit to represent and protect the best interests of children and have been appointed as a Guardian ad Litem numerous times by Judges..
