Firm: W Law Group, LC
6900 College Blvd. Suite 820 , Overland Park , Kansas 66211
Practice Areas: Estate Planning, Elder Law, Trusts
When not practicing law, I enjoy non-legal reading and writing, and of course spending time with my family--being outdoors, playing games, visiting national parks, singing and serving others (including on a couple non-profit boards). My wife, Beth, is a Physical Therapist working in both geriatrics and pediatrics, but her primary occupation is home educator. We are active in our church and enjoy bible study. We have a loyal, somewhat obedient Irish Goldendoodle named Sherlock, several cats, lots of chickens and a guineafowl that showed up on our little farm and never left.

As a result, they co-authored Midwest Estate Planning: A Guide for Your Family, a practical guide to the estate planning issues that impact everyday people in our area.. Mr. Gaughan is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2004, and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rockhurst University in 2001..
