Joshua "Josh" D. Allison is a native of the southeast area of Louisiana having grown up in St. Bernard Parish while attending school in New Orleans. He then lived in Hammond, Louisiana while attending Southeastern Louisiana University on multiple academic scholarships and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors in Political Science and a minor in history. Josh then attended Loyola College of Law in historic uptown New Orleans, graduating in 2014 with his Juris Doctor in Civil Law as well as a Certificate in International Law.. While in law school, Josh was elected by his fellow students to the Honor Board, an organization comprised of the student body responsible for administering Loyola's ethics code among the law students. Also while in law school, he was honored to successfully represent both the Loyola College of Law and the City of New Orleans as a competing oralist in the world's largest and most prestigious moot court competition, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. For the first time in Loyola's history, Loyola won first place at the regional level, and advanced to the international competition in Washington D.C. as one of only twelve teams representing the United States against over 100 law schools from around the world..
