Brett Keller Duncan, a lifelong resident of Hammond, Louisiana, is an accomplished attorney and an elected member of the Tangipahoa Parish School Board. His journey began after graduating from Hammond High, when he joined the Louisiana Army National Guard, serving for ten years with the 205th Engineer Battalion and participating in "Operation Enduring Freedom" in Afghanistan. Brett's pride in his community was evident when he initiated a project for Hammond to "Adopt" three Afghan villages, reflecting his deep commitment to service. He has received several military accolades, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Louisiana War Cross. Brett graduated cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he was actively involved in student leadership and received the Lieu Award for academic excellence. He later earned his Juris Doctor from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center and established a law practice dedicated to helping families navigate legal challenges. In addition to his private practice, Brett has represented over 1,000 abused and neglected children. He is an active community volunteer and is married to Regina M. Lamb, with whom he has two children, Kendall and Robert.

Erik Burns was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he continues to reside with his two sons. Prior to graduating from the Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1993, Erik graduated from Catholic High School of Baton Rouge and then obtain a B.A. degree in Business Management with a minor in marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.. Erik began his practice in downtown Baton Rouge as a solo practitioner where he did significant personal injury work having worked closely with a seasoned attorney. In 1997 Erik was presented with an opportunity to move his office to Denham Springs, LA in a brand new building where he again worked with another seasoned attorney continuing to do significant personal injury but where his practice expanded also more significantly into the family law arena. During this time Erik also practiced in areas of criminal defense, wills and successions and general litigation.. In February of 2000, Erik ventured out completely on his own and formed Erik L. Burns, A Professional Law Corporation. He has remained in this practice today having built an office facility he currently practices out of and moved into in March of 2005. He maintains an active practice in both Baton Rouge and the entire 21st Judicial District, which encompasses Livingston Parish, Tangipahoa Parish and St. Helena Parish. He is a past Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-President and President for the 21st Judicial District Bar Association.. Erik’s currently serves on the Louisiana State Bar Associations House of Delegates having been a member since 2005. He served on the legislative committee for 3 years from 2010-2013. He presently serves on the District 5A Regional Panel pursuant to appointment by the La. State Bar president for the 2014-2015 term.. Erik is an active member of the 21st J.D.C. Jon V. Steele is proud to be a public servant. After 20 years with the New Orleans Police Department, he retired after sustaining a work-related injury. He then entered Loyola University’s College of Law where during his final year he was a Law Clerk for the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office. After graduation, he assisted a young attorney in establishing a family law practice where he handled nearly all of the firm's protective orders, civil injunctions, and adversarial child custody cases. Jon is now building his own family law practice and is also expanding into criminal defense to help you or your loved one navigate the maze of the criminal judicial system.. Like a lot of young men of blue-collar families, Jon started out working off shore in the oil industry. He transitioned in to construction and became a pipefitter with Brown & Root's Petro-Chemical Division. In 1985 he started his law enforcement career with the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's Office and in 1987, he joined theNew Orleans Police Department. As a New Orleans Police Officer, Jon was a Narcotics Detective, Field Training Officer, Recruiting Investigator, and Expert Finger Print Examine.
