Karen Boston has successfully represented thousands of people in the areas of personal injury, family law and civil matters. She handles divorces and custody disputes for clients in several counties, as well as grandparents’ visitation and guardianship matters. Karen represents both plaintiffs and defendants in protection from abuse matters. Karen has served as a past chair of the Maine State Bar Association's Family Law Section and also previously served as vice chair and secretary. I have been practicing law for 30 years. I started as a defense attorney representing insurance companies.  I switched my practice in the early 1990's to focus on representing people who were seriously injured or killed in an accident.  I have spent most of my years as a lawyer practicing at Maine' largest law firm, working my way up to Partner in Charge of the Firm's Augusta Branch Office.  I left the large firm in 2015 to form my own firm and in 2016 added a partner.  The firm continues to grow with the addition of two other lawyers and 5 staff members.  Our firm focuses on quality, compassion and results.  We look forward to the opportunity to represent you.
