My domestic law experience began while completing an internship in the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office. I realized the need for not only aggressive litigation, but compassion for those who were victimized.. This experience led me to focus my career path on domestic law because of the unique dynamic it creates. Clients find themselves in a legal battle against their spouse or child’s parent. During this sensitive time, I take my legal skills and experience to fight for clients’ rights while incorporating an element of compassion towards my clients behind the scenes.. Prior to joining the Law Office of James E. Crawford, Jr. and Associates, LLC in May of 2016, I had my own domestic firm located in Baltimore County.. I'm a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania and my Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.. I live in Carroll County, Maryland and enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs.

Lauren S. Keiser’s practice focuses on the area of family law, and she has experience handling a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony and marital property.  Through her practice, she has first chair experience litigating cases at pendente lite and merits hearings, as well as temporary and final protective order hearings. Lauren regularly participates in alternative dispute resolution, and negotiates and prepares prenuptial agreements, marital property settlement agreements and parenting agreements.. After graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2007, with a degree in Women’s Studies, Lauren attended the University of Baltimore Law School, where she participated in the Family Law Clinic.  Lauren graduated from the University of Baltimore in the winter of 2010, and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in June 2010.  Prior to joining Spencer & Stahl, P.C., Lauren was a judicial intern for the Honorable Martin P. Welch in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, and practiced family law at a boutique law firm located in Montgomery County, Maryland.. Lauren is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, and the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland. Maryland Super Lawyers magazine named Lauren a Maryland Rising Star in 2014 and 2015.. Lauren’s experience as a student attorney with the University of Baltimore Family Law Clinic sparked her passion for family law, and she has been helping clients with their domestic legal needs since that time. Lauren believes that each domestic case is unique, and that the resolution of the legal issues therein is achieved through creative solutions. Lauren sincerely values the personal connection she has with her clients.. Lauren grew up outside of Baltimore, Maryland, and presently resides in Washington, D.C. I received myBachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Frostburg State University in May 2009 where I was an active member of Delta Zeta National Sorority and the Student Government Association.. After college, I spent two years as a legal assistant before attending law school. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2014. While in law school, I worked for several law firms, gaining experience in criminal and family law.. For the first year after law school, I served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Nancy M. Purpura in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. I spent six months of her judicial clerkship in the family law rotation and was exposed to a variety of family law matters.. Lauren Kollecas is a Maryland criminal defense and family law attorney. For her undergraduate eduation, Lauren attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she received her BA in Russian History in 2010. From there, she attended law school at Catholic University, graduating in 2013. Upon joining the Maryland Bar in December 2013, she worked for a small firm in Rockville before taking a position as a prosecutor for the great state of New Mexico in 2015. While out west, she prosecuted hundreds of cases with a wide variety of charges, including DWIs, assaults/batteries, drug offenses, and domestic violence. Upon moving back to Maryland in 2016, Lauren joined Azari Law. Since that time, she has handled myriad cases from divorce, custody, and child support to DWI/DUI, sex offenses, and first-degree murder.
