I devote my practice 100% to representing whistleblowers bringing qui tam cases under the False Claims Act or disclosing fraud under other whistleblower programs. I have over 35 years of experience in criminal and civil enforcement actions. I was a criminal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, where I handled complex investigations, trials, and appeals. I also have worked in private practice as a white-collar defense attorney and in-house at a Fortune 100 corporation. My varied experience enables me to analyze whistleblower matters from multiple perspectives.. I love practicing law because it engages my mind in analyzing complex issues, my heart in understanding the hopes and fears of my clients, and my voice in advocating for justice. Whistleblower Law Collaborative co-founders Suzanne E. Durrell and Robert M. Thomas, Jr., joined forces in 2003 to represent whistleblowers in qui tam actions under the False Claims Act. Ms. Durrell was the former Chief of the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, where she spent twelve years supervising and prosecuting False Claims Act cases.  In recent years, the Whistleblower Law Collaborative has expanded its capacity to do this important work with the addition of Bruce C.
