Ryan has dedicated his entire legal career to representing people injured by foodborne illness. His passion is holding food producers accountable when they poison their customers. His unending goal is to make the food we eat safer.. Ryan has a decade’s worth of experience in foodborne illness litigation. He has represented people in every major foodborne illness outbreak during that time.. Ryan gravitated to the science-driven foodborne illness practice in part because he comes from a medical family. He has been around foodborne illness outbreak investigations since before he could walk.. “You’ll get the experience you deserve. It is important to know the lawyer you hire to represent you in a foodborne illness case has done these cases before and knows what it takes to win. There isn’t a more experienced foodborne illness law firm in America than OFT. Experience counts, however, the most rewarding part of my job is connecting with my clients. When you hire OFT we will be working together to get the best possible outcome by any means necessary. Every case is personal to me. You are trusting me with your case, and I take that responsibility seriously. You will be able to contact me at all hours of the day via email, text, or phone with any questions or concerns you might have. We work for you, and will never forget that.”. He is also recognized by his peers as a Superlawyer, a designation afforded to the top 5% of criminal defense lawyers.. You might be on this website because you have a problem and you want it solved quickly and quietly. Perhaps you suspect that you are being investigated by state or federal law enforcement. An expert in technology with the use of a sophisticated trial program called Trial Director (a program used by the United States Attorney’s Office and Federal Defender’s Office), she litigates nearly every jury trial with Ryan, assisting in all aspects of the litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she externed for the then-chief judge of Hennepin County Criminal Court and interned with the United States Federal Defender’s Office.

Ryan Drea

333 Washington Ave N Ste 300 , Minneapolis , Minnesota 55401
Practice Areas: Criminal Defense
People often ask me how I can defend criminal for a living. My answer is always, as far back as I can remember I have always wanted to be a criminal defense attorney. I vividly remember as a child sneaking down after everyone had gone to bed to watch reruns of the original Perry Mason. I was awestruck that in every episonde Perry Mason would find the real culprit of the crime, most often not his client. He fought with such vigor and intellect, that I dreamed of growing up to be him. Most attorneys will tell you they became a lawyer beacuse they wanted to help others or to change the sytem. For me though, it was a desire to ensure justice was done and the right person was convicted, just like Perry Mason.. I love what I do for a living, and each day I wake up knowing I get to do it again is a joy. However, being a lawyer is not the only thing I enjoy. When I am not in the office or a courtroom you can find me on the golf course. Although, my golf game could use a great deal of polishing I still love to play. I am also an avid baseball fan. Growing up in rural Wisconisin I bleed blue for my beloved Milwaukee Brewers. However, since moving to Minnesota I have started to follow the Twins almost as closely as I follow my Brewers. When time allows I love nothing more than the taking in a baseball game. The sounds of the crowd, the excitement of the long ball, and that sweet sound of ball hitting glove when a pitcher burns one across the plate striking out the opposing teams best hitter. It is the simple things in life that make for the best days.. While I love being on the golf course, in the the baseball stadium, there is nothing I love more in this world than helping my clients. If you have been accused of a crime call me and let me help.
