EXPERIENCE. Mr. Funk has represented a wide variety of clients across Nevada. Mr. Funk’s primary clientele includes high net worth individuals and closely held businesses on a local, regional, and national level. During his time with Gunderson Law Firm, Mr. Funk has represented businesses owners, debtors, creditors, guarantors, secured parties, landlords, tenants, contractors, real estate brokers and agents, homeowners, and many others. Mr. Funk has appeared before state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Mr. Funk also interned for Honorable Judge Patrick Flanagan at Washoe County District Court and served as a summer law clerk for the Gunderson Law Firm.. PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. Mr. Funk is a board member for the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit seeking to promote and develop the game of lacrosse as an integral part of the education process making it equally available to both boys and girls. Mr. Funk is also the head coach of Reno High School’s boys lacrosse program serving not only as a coach at his Alma Mater, but also as a mentor to the players. He is an active player and member of the Reno/Tahoe men’s club lacrosse team—the Tahoe Dawgs.
