Location: New Jersey I was also never informed I was fired, I just found out I was fired last month. When I talked to them they just said they might not be able to accommodate my restrictions but they'll let me know when they decide. Well, on Friday I got a letter from the DOL saying they need more information about my application for unemployment and in there it said I was terminated, and my employer told them I was terminated for breaking company policy due to my permanent restrictions. Now I'm worried my unemployment application might be denied due to them never notifying I was terminated, I applied because of reduced hours since I wasn't getting any hours after being released from workers comp, but it turns out I was fired and never told.
