Michael D. Fioretti, principal of The Law Offices of Michael D. Fioretti, was born in a lower middle class neighborhood in West Philadelphia. He began to work at the age of 12. He worked his way through college and law school by working at a grocery store. A 1967 graduate of St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, Mr. Fioretti went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from University of Villanova Law School in 1972.. In 1968, as a second year law student at Villanova, Michael was drafted and inducted into the United States Military. He was trained to be a Vietnamese speaking interrogator. At the completion of his tour of duty in Vietnam, he returned to Villanova Law School.. Early in his legal career (1973 through 1981), Mr. Fioretti was a criminal defense attorney.
