My career started in 1982 on the defense side specializing in medical malpractice, product liability, construction law, and environmental law. I became my firm's youngest partner after 5 years, and was a sought after speaker before many bar associations around the country on legal issues, as well as a published lawyer during the 1980's. I no longer write for any legal periodical. In 17 years on the defense side I tried hundreds of cases and lost 2.. In 1999 I opened my own practice in the East Village of New York City, relying primariloy on cases referred by other attorneys, and switichign siodes to the Plaintiff's Bar..
