I was born in 1953 and raised in Garfield Heights, Ohio. I graduated from Garfield Heights High School in 1971. I wrestled, played football and baseball. I attended Ohio University and graduated summa cum laude, with Honors in Government, a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I graduated from the Ohio State University College of Law in 1978.
