Prior to his career in law, Mr. Adams worked for a number of large international promotional marketing companies who boasted clients such as Coca-Cola, Wal-Mart, R.J. Reynolds, McDonald's, IHOP, and T.G.I.Friday's.. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife Bridget and my amazing son Pierce and I enjoy playing guitar in all sorts of musical genres.

My first experience with an attorney was a number of years ago when I was getting divorced (before I attended law school). I felt rushed and disconnected when I met with the attorney - as if he had better things to do. He seemed irritated if he had to spend too much time explaining things to me, and he billed me exorbitant fees for every little thing he did. I served several more years enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserves during college. I earned my commission in the Army National Guard after graduating from the Oregon Military Academy. Prior to attending law school, I was employed as a caseworker for the State of Oregon for ten years in Beaverton.  I have five children (three teenagers still at home) and one grandbaby (so far), as well as a lazy pug and a feisty English bulldog.. During law school and after graduation, I worked as a workers' compensation attorney for both the injured worker and the insurance companies (not at the same time).  I didn't care for the contentiousness and hostility of that type of alw, so I began handling bankruptcy cases and found I loved it.  Bankruptcy is a win-win: I'm able to help people get out from under their financial problems and they're happier for the resolution!  In 2017, I'm adding will and trusts to my existing bankruptcy practice (primarily because so many bankruptcy clients over the years have inquired about that service, but also to expand my practice now that all my children are out of elementary school).
