He is an active member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Elder Counsel, Elder Law Answers, South Carolina Bar, Illinois Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Kent earned both his Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws in Health Law and Policy from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
