As the only non-science person in a medical family, I know what it’s like to sit in a room full of people who are speaking their own language and not understand a word of what is being said. Just like the medical field, the law tends to have a language all of its own. With a background in education and mediation, I love finding ways to explain complicated legal matters in everyday language and helping my clients resolve their legal problems in the most effective and efficient way possible. In addition to being an attorney I am also a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece and a mother of four. I understand that whatever legal issues I am helping you with are intensely personal to you and likely involve your relationship(s) with family members. Whether you are dealing with the death or incapacity of a loved one or are working on putting together your own estate plan, at the end of the day my goal is to give you the peace of mind that comes with understanding the laws and procedures that apply to the issues you are dealing with.
