Dan began his career at a major Dallas firm in 1974, and moved to Austin in 1982. His almost 40 years of practice have been largely focused on representing business entities, entrepreneurs, and investors in a wide array of corporate and business transactions, including merger and acquisition transactions and equity and debt financing transactions. His experience spans several business sectors, both public and private, and includes serving as general counsel of an Austin-based telecommunications company that developed markets in Mexico and Central America. Daniel is the premier cannabis attorney in the state of Texas. He practices throughout the United States and internationally.. Daniel was born and raised in Greensboro, NC where he attended Page Highschool before moving on to Appalachian State University. At Appalachian, Daniel was an instrumental member of the ski team, but he chose to transfer to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill to continue his studies,.
