My name is Jason Laas-Sughrue and I am a Texas lawyer. I currently live in Dallas, am married to my best friend and right hand “man”, Molly and we have 3 children. I travel to and from my firms in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston, we exclusively defend people from creditors’ lawsuits, foreclosure, and repossession.. I am from a little town in central Texas called West. In fact, my wife Molly and I met and started dating in West, Texas, so it has a very special place in my heart. After graduating from high school my wife and I attended college at The University of Texas at Austin. It was from UT that I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000. We both then also went on to Law School at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.. After graduating from law school and passing the bar exam, I opened my law practice in Houston with an exclusive focus on defending people from creditors efforts to collect debt. Within 5 years of starting our practice in Houston we became the second largest consumer debt firm in Houston.. In 2013 I expanded our Houston practice by opening an office in Dallas and Fort Worth. After two years we have become one of the larger Debtor firms in Dallas/Fort Worth, making us one of the largest firms of our kind in Texas.. Despite our size, our commitment to our individual clients has never diminished. Clients that come into our office are treated as family. We make sure that clients have all the time that they need to sit with an attorney and have an answer to all of their questions. We do an excellent job of making sure our clients stay informed and are comfortable while we represent them. This we believe our philosophy is reflected in the reviews you can read on AVVO, our website, and our excellent rating on the BBB.. Please give us a call and let us know how we can help..
