After attending Lamar University and obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice, I worked as a paralegal for two years. In doing that work, I discovered a passion for the law and a talent for connecting with people and helping them navigate through legal issues. Taking three years off work to attend law school full-time was not an option for me, so I continued working full-time during the day and attended law school in the evenings at South Texas College of Law in Houston.
