I am licensed in all state courts in Texas and New Mexico. My practice focuses mainly on estate planning, asset protection, and wealth distribution. I have been a Certified Financial Planner since 2007 and often use the knowledge and insights I gained while working as a financial advisor to recommend, develop, and implement comprehensive estate planning and wealth strategies.. As one of 16 practicing Texas attorneys with the CFP® designation, I know the value that this designation has had for many of my clients. Whether in a divorce, corporate, retirement planning, or estate planning setting, the knowledge, insight, and thoroughness gained by obtaining the designation has been invaluable to my clients.. I am married to a wonderful West Texas woman named Alyson. We have a young daughter, Camryn, with another baby on the way. As native West Texans, we have gained much of the same values and experiences that my clients possess. This has translated into a successful practice and clients becoming personal friends.. My goal is to provide my clients with excellent service at a fair price. If I don't know the answer to a particular legal issue, I will let the client know. Then I will find the answer or recommend someone that knows. I value the opportunity to gain your trust and business. Email me or give me a call today.

During law school, Simon interned with the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) where he assisted families with release from detention centers, visa applications, and removal proceedings.. Simon interned as a Certified Legal Intern for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association and Florida A&M University College of Law Legal Clinic as a Guardian Ad Litem, representing the best interest of children inside and outside of the courts.. Simon also interned with a boutique law firm in Dallas, assisting their clients with commercial real estate, intellectual property, social media, tax planning, employment law, and corporate transactions.. In addition to all the hard work with academics and practice, Simon held leadership roles throughout his entire tenure at law school. Simon was a Supreme Court Justice for the Florida A&M University Student Government Association, where he lobbied for change to ensure that the Supreme Court would always include law students within the Court system. He was also elected as a representative for the College of Law through The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Law School Affiliates, where he was honored in receiving the “Governor of the Year” award from The Florida Bar.. Simon has moderated panel discussions, including the inaugural Florida Law Schools’ Consortium for Racial Justice discussing “Civil Rights Litigation and Coalition Building in the 21st Century.”. Simon passed the Texas Bar Exam on his first attempt, scoring in the top 10%, according to historical data.. As a first generation born American, Simon grew up with immigrant parent-values, working in the family business from the young age of 6. His parent’s involvement in their local community, passion for travelling, and interaction with various cultures were passed down and continue with him today.. His wife, Lexy, is also a first generation American, and together they travel, volunteer, and pursue making a meaningful impact on society, one interaction at a time. You can see them out and about with their dog, Hashtag, but they most enjoy dinner dates and board game nights with their close-knit friend group when they’re not binge watching the latest tv shows.. Simon is currently working towards his Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree, where he anticipates graduating in December 2021 from the University of Oklahoma, and Lexy is pursuing a dual major, aspiring to one day get her Ph.D. in Psychology.
