Attorney Madison Whitehead was born and raised in Manassas, Virginia. She attended George Mason University, and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Criminology and a concentration in Law and Society. During her undergraduate career, Madison focused on the flaws in the justice system and spent time interning in a Victim’s Witness Advocacy Program and the Commonwealth Attorney’s office both located in Culpeper, Virginia. During her time at the Commonwealth Attorney’s office she initiated independent research regarding casework and developed critical analysis of case law. Moreover, while interning with the Victim’s Witness Advocacy Program she developed a passion for helping individuals through the court process. Her experiences in both offices led her to ultimately follow her passions to law school. Madison pursued her law degree at Liberty University School of Law. While attending law school, Madison competed on the Mediation Team and won the Regional competition and placed in the semi-finals at the National competition. In addition, she competed on the school’s Mock Trial team. During her time in law school she also interned with the Fairfax County Public Defender’s office in Fairfax, Virginia. While there, she worked almost exclusively in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court where she developed her love of criminal defense and her passion for helping those in need. Madison relocated to Northern Virginia where she continues her career in exclusively Criminal Defense with S&R Law Firm. Madison believes fully that every person has the right to zealous representation and above all else Constitutional rights should be protected.
