I decided to attend law school after working with children whose parents were incarcerated. I witnessed first-hand the devestating effects that criminal prosecution can have on children, families, and communities and I felt compelled to fight for systemic change.. I graduated with honors from University of Washington School of Law in 2019. While in law school, I served as a Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review and represented UW at the National Trial Competition, where I placed in the top 2% of competitors nationwide.
