I personally attend to the offices located in Wenatchee and in the Seattle area (including Tacoma to Bellingham, and even out to the Olympic penninsula), and travel throughout this region when required and my clients cannot come to one of our offices. Firm wide, the Calbom & Schwab Law Group maintains its primary office in Moses Lake, with satellite offices in Wenatchee, Kennewick, Walla Walla, and Seattle. I am available to meet at locations not serviced by one of our offices at your convenience. I understand that you may not be able to travel to one of our offices because of your disability.. In my view, the practice of law is partly the art of connecting with people, understanding how to best advance their legal interests in a personal way. Preparing for the practice of law began with a two year residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico where I went to learn Spanish. Since then, I have devoted myself to protecting and defending the legal rights of those who have been wrongfully denied benefits through the Worker's Compensation system, or the Social Security Disability and SSI system. Being able to speak to my Spanish speaking only clients without an interpreter has always facilitated my relationship with those clients who cannot speak English in a way that I also enjoy with my English speaking clients. No interpreter is a substitute for the one-on-one personal connection that comes in speaking with someone directly. When not working in one of our offices across the State of Washington, I enjoy doing some pro bono work through the Latina/o Bar Assn of Washington and their work at El Centro de la Raza in Seattle. In my spare time, I enjoy photography, or playing guitar. And like any parent, my children are my greatest joy and gift in life.
