My practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, and probate. I am a certified elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF).  I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and previously served as president of the Wisconsin Chapter of NAELA and now serve as a board member.  I am  a member of the Board of Directors of the Elder Section of the Wisconsin State Bar Association and currently serving as recording secretary.   I am accredited by the Veterans Administration to counsel veteran clients (and their widows and spouses) about veterans benefits, particularly the pension benefit with aid & attendance.. My wife, Dawn, and I have three sons and enjoy spending time with our grandchildren. I was raised in a small farm town, where I spent most of my childhood in the country.  I love to hunt and fish and enjoy planning our families annual fishing trip to Canada.  I am a life long equestrienne and own a thoroughbred named "Tucker".  I enjoy camping and hunting for elk each year with my boys and I can't pass up a good fish fry or pizza.

Scott A. Kissinger was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, and grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 with majors in Accounting and Urban Land Economics.  While completing his undergraduate course work, he served in the United States Army Reserves, and was called to active duty during the Desert Storm phase of the Persian Gulf War..
