Michael Killackey graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara prior to obtaining his J.D. from Loyola Law School. Mr. Killackey began his career as a medical malpractice defense attorney. After developing a firm understanding of medicine, Mr. Killackey eventually refocused his career and dedicated himself to representing plaintiffs in catastrophic loss cases.. In 2007 Mr. Killackey joined Masry & Vititoe, the firm often recognized for its depiction in the movie “Erin Brockovich”. As a partner with Masry & Vititoe, Mr. Killackey was Lead Trial Counsel of the Personal Injury Litigation Department where he primarily handled traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, truck and bus collisions, and other catastrophic loss cases.. In 2010, Mr. Killackey founded Killackey Law Offices in Southern California and was named a Finalist for Consumer Attorneys of California 2010 Consumer Attorney of the Year. Mr. Killackey was also recently named by Pasadena Magazine in its November 2011 Issue as “Top Attorney” in the area of Personal Injury / Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation.” Currently, Mr. Killackey continues to represent numerous victims of traumatic brain injury in California and around the country.
