Richard Lin Bio
Richard Lin has over 15 years of experience representing clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including business disputes, intellectual property, class action, employment, and trust and estate litigation.  He draws upon his years of litigation experience to help his clients achieve their goals, efficiently and effectively, both in and out of the courtroom.. In the area of intellectual property, Richard is a registered patent attorney and has handled patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters in a wide variety of technologies, including computer systems, wireless communications equipment, medical devices, and biotechnology.  He has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the country and before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).  He also advises clients on the acquisition and licensing of intellectual property assets.. Richard was recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the 2015, 2016, and 2017 editions of Northern California Super Lawyers as well as a “Rising Star” in the 2012 – 2014 editions of the publication.  He earned his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2000.  Prior to law school, he earned undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from Stanford University.
