Before entering private practice in Austin, Andy held senior positions in the Office of the Governor of Texas and the Office of the Attorney General of Texas after serving as counsel to a member of the Texas Senate.. Andy's 40+ year practice has focused on regulatory, legislative and corporate matters, primarily representing clients in the electric and communication industries. He has represented a variety of competitive electric and telecommunication interests as well as large regulated electric utilities, both investor owned and municipally owned. He represents clients before the courts, state and federal regulatory bodies, state legislatures, Congress and local governments.
