Suzette Selden has extensive experience representing consumers and businesses in insurance disputes and other civil litgation matters.  Suzette has represented insureds and claimants in matters involving liability insurance, life insurance, homeowners, commercial property, commercial automobile, automobile, health, and disability.  She has represented clients in various practice areas, including insurance litigation, deceptive trade practices, business disputes, securities litigaiton, and construction defect cases.. Suzette was selected by Thomson Reuters for inclusion in 2013 and 2013 Texas Rising Stars.  Only 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state were selected.  Suzette currently serves on the executive board of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association.  She has co-authored the Annual Survey of Texas Insurance Law in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.  Additionally, she was head notes and comments editor of the Houston Journal of International Law from 2005-2006 and is a member of the Order of the Barons.. Before becoming a lawyer, Suzette worked as a television news producer for an ABC affiliate in Washington state and interned for Dateline NBC in New York City.  She also worked for International Sports Broadcasting during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
