He has experience in both commercial and residential real estate and he represents a number of business entities as General Counsel.. Represented County of DuPage as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney (civil matters).. Served as General Counsel for the DuPage County Bar Association.. Serves on the Judiciary Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association.. Serves as Arbitrator for the Circuit Court of DuPage County.. Served as Director and Officer of B.R. Ryall YMCA, Glen Ellyn, Illinois including Board President.. Provides services pro bono for several non-profit organizations, including B.R. Ryall YMCA.. Presented at numerous conferences/seminars for Public Library organizations, including Illinois Library Association, Metropolitan Library System and DuPage Library System.. Personal. Served as a Trip Assistant to persons with disabilities on outdoor camping trips for Wilderness Inquiry, a non-profit organization offering outdoor recreational opportunities and wilderness experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds, including persons with disabilities.. President of Senior Men’s Honorary Society at The University of Michigan.. Earned three varsity letters in wrestling at The University of Michigan.. Wrestled for The University of Michigan on Michigan’s Big Ten Championship Team (1973).. Has taken dozens of wilderness canoe trips in Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada.. Enjoys traveling and a variety of outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and scuba diving.
