Since being licensed in 1994, Ms. Corley has focused her practice in the area of commercial litigation with emphasis on defending claims for personal injury, premises liability, food-borne illness, liquor liability, harassment and discrimination, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, fraud, products liability and wrongful death/survival. Her practice includes representation of diverse business concerns such as restaurants and retail establishments, employers, insurance companies, healthcare providers and other private interests. Ms. Corley is experienced in all aspects of state and federal litigation from suit investigation through trial and appeal. In addition to her litigation background, Ms. Corley has represented clients before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the United States Department of Labor, and the Texas Workforce Commission. As part of her professional endeavors, Ms. Corley is active in the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and periodically, writes and presents CLE papers on ethics and litigation-related topics. Most recently, she was awarded membership in the National Retail and Restaurant Association, which is an independent, non-profit, networking association of legal and claims professionals in the retail and restaurant industries, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel whose peer-reviewed membership promotes knowledge, fellowship, and professionalism to achieve balance in the defense of civil lawsuits.
