Paul Goeke is licensed to practice in State and Federal Court. He is a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist. To achieve this qualification, a lawyer must devote a significant part of his practice to Criminal Law for a minimum of five (5) years and then pass a special law examination on Texas Criminal Law. Mr Goeke's law career has been ENTIRELY devoted to criminal law. Having begun his career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bexar County District Attorney's Office, he has experience "on both sides of the docket". This provides a unique and highly valuable insight into the trial of criminal cases as it helps a lawyer to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of the State's case. Modern criminal cases rely heavily on forensic sciences and the application of science in the courtroom. Mr.Goeke has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in the Physical and Biological sciences. He has studied extensively in medicine and the educational background makes him especially qualified to defend individual accused of crimes ranging from Capital Murder, Intoxication Manslaughter/Assault, Sexual Assault to Driving While Intoxicated..
