Scott's practice encompasses all aspects of Family Law including dissolution of marriage, child custody, visitation and support, post-judgment enforcement actions as well as drafting premarital and postmarital agreements. Scott is the recipient of the prestigious Mike Shea award in 2013 for his work in educating his peers as well as commitment to civility in the legal community. Scott is a frequent lecturer on all issues related to family law. Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the AAML Southern California Chapter (2017). He has previously held numerous leadership positions with the San Diego County Bar Association, including: Co-chair of the Family Law Division (2013); Chairperson of the Lawyer Referral Service (2008-2011); Board of Director (2006-2007), and Chair-Person of the Young New Lawyer Division (2006-2007).
