Bruce is Managing Director of the Firm.  He has over 38 years of experience in representing high net worth individuals and their businesses with regard to tax and estate litigation, fiduciary litigation including attorneys, accountants, trustees, and bank officers. He has helped plan acquisitions, mergers and reorganizations of businesses, acquisition and sales of professional practices, and acquisitions, exchanges, sales and leasing of real estate.   He has counseled physicians, engineers, contractors, design professionals and real estate professionals concerning their professional practices and personal holdings.  In addition, Bruce has significant expertise with regard to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, the California Coastal Act and other general Land Use Planning and Development Issues.. Bruce’s admissions to the practice of law are:  The State Bar of California (1979); The Wyoming State Bar (1994);  The State Bar of Montana (1994); The United States Tax Court (1980); The United States Supreme Court (1985); The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1980); The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit (1994); and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the Districts of Wyoming and Montana.  In addition, Bruce has appeared pro hac vice before the State and Federal Courts of the States of Minnesota and Texas in numerous litigated matters.. Bruce served on the Board of the Monterey County Republican Central Committee; the Carmel Valley Rodeo Association; is a Benefactor Member of the Marines Memorial Association; a Life Member of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse; has received numerous awards from the National Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council; is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and numerous other such publications.. Bruce was born in San Francisco. He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.
