Prior to opening this practice, Steven Murray served as a Senior Trial Attorney with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Steven represented the EEOC in civil rights cases before United States District Courts in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Arizona.. Prior to serving with the EEOC, Steven Murray practiced as an employment and civil rights attorney. Steven worked as a private practitioner, law firm partner, and lawyer for a public sector labor organization attorney in Denver, and served as a law firm attorney and labor organization lawyer in Washington, D.C.. Steven Murray received a Masters of Laws degree in Employment and Labor Law from the Georgetown University Law Center. Steven received a Juris Doctor degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he served on the Saint Louis University Law Journal. He has written published articles addressing public and private sector employment and labor law, political patronage and First Amendment issues in public sector employment, and constitutional law--the articles appearing in the DePaul Law Review [Lead Article], Saint Louis University Law Journal, and Government Executive Magazine [co-author]. Steven Murray is admitted to practice law in Colorado, the District of Columbia, and Illinois [inactive]. Steven is admitted to practice before United States District Courts for the District of Colorado, and the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth, Federal, Third, and Fourth Circuits. He is a member of the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
