Stacy grew up in Rawlins, Wyoming and graduated from Rawlins High School. She attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with honors in just three years with a B.S. degree in political science, sociology, and administration of justice.. Stacy attended the University of Wyoming, College of Law. Stacy entered law school with a desire to practice family law. In law school, she worked for the University of Wyoming Legal Services Clinic representing adults and children in various domestic relations matters. Stacy graduated from law school with her J.D. in 2002.. She was an attorney with Nicholas and Tangeman, LLC for 2003  until 2018 when she formed Rostad Law, LLC. Stacy’s practice focuses on family law, guardian ad litem matters, civil litigation and workers compensation cases. She is admitted to practice in Wyoming and Colorado, including the United States District Courts for the Districts of Wyoming and Colorado.. She is a member of the Wyoming and Colorado Bar Associations, the Albany County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.. Stacy has lived in Laramie 20 years. She has been a volunteer member and interim director of her church’s children’s program as long as she has lived in Laramie. She and her husband Paul have been married for twelve years. They have three kids, ages 10, 8 and 1.
