Penney, and Barnes & Noble. He also played a pivotal role as lead class counsel in Florez v. Linens ‘N Things, Inc., a landmark privacy rights case that resulted in the California Supreme Court's decision prohibiting retailers from collecting personal information during credit card transactions.. Additionally, Mr. Fineman was co-counsel in one of the world’s largest data breach cases, involving Yahoo!, as well as in one of the nation’s largest medical data breach cases against St. Joseph Health System.
