She spent a year and a half serving the area of Houston, Texas for her church. She has also participated in several medical service missions to countries in need, traveling as a medical volunteer to Nicaragua, Peru, and Ecuador.. The oldest of 4 children and a native Arizonan, Ms. Parker attended Red Mountain High School where she participated in sports medicine, choir and speech and debate. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Classical Literature and Philosophy and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
