Biography:. After practicing for 15 years of successfully practicing law in Missoula, Montana, my wife (an Idaho native) convinced me to move to Boise to be closer to her family.  In 2013, I passed the Idaho bar and started my own practice.  Being your own boss is great, however, I wanted to work with skilled attorneys who complement each other’s skills and shared my desire to help clients in finding the best solution to his/her problem.  “Best” is usually the least emotionally and financially taxing solution that provides my clients with the majority of what they should receive.  With Nikki and Deena, I’ve found two attorneys who work great individually and as a team, enjoy helping people and are fun to work with.. Philosophy:. My philosophy in practicing law is to find the best solution to my client’s problem.  While an attorney has to always prepare like the case will be tried, rarely is a trial the best solution due to the expense, mental and physical toll taken on a client.  As there are always 2 sides to a story, the best result usually involves a reasonable compromise.  My skills, training, and experience allow me to assess a case, determine the sticking point (settlement range) and convince the opposing party, counsel or insurer to find common ground to work toward a reasonable solution for both sides.. I love paying my clients instead of vice versa.  My best work days involve seeing my clients' faces when I deliver their settlement checks.  Those moments are what make all time spent on client meetings, document review, negotiations, legal document drafting, and in court worthwile.. Hobbies: Hiking, biking, skiing, and poker.  With 3 daughters and 2 dogs, I don't get out enough.. Sports Teams:  Montana Grizzlies and Boise State
