Rob is a native Kentuckian who still loves his home State (Commonwealth). Rob is an only child who spent most of his childhood in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Rob's Grandfather, William Wright, was the Assistant Chief of Police in Fort Thomas and his parents, Rob and Billie, met at Highlands High School. Rob's father is a retired Architect/Engineer and Rob's mother is a literature professor at the University of Cincinnati. Rob is an only child. Growing up Rob also lived in Boone County, Kentucky for a few years.. Rob was a "LIFER" at Summit Country Day School in Hyde Park, Ohio. Rob's parents sent him to Summit because it was more diverse than Highland's at the time and provide a solid academic footing. Rob attended Summit from the time he was 3 years old until he graduated from high school. At Summit Rob played football and basketball (until he determined that he was height challenged). Rob credits the Summit for his strong belief in servant leadership. It is this belief that, in part, caused him to enter the legal profession.. Rob attended Wittenberg University for college. There he helped found Tiger Life, an organization that worked with underprivileged children in the Springfield schools. He also became active with the Wttenberg College Republicans and partcipated in a number of political campaigns. While at Wittenberg Rob also did course work at the University of Cincinnati (Criminal Justice Courses and Paralegal Courses) and volunteered with the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority and Legal Aid of Cincinnati/Hamilton County.. Rob attended Chase College of Law and graduated Cum Laude. While at Chase Rob clerked Robert E. Sanders and Associates.. Rob has worked outside the legal field when he was young as a laborer for Wipper Construction and EGC construction, a customer service representative for 5/3 Bank and a pharmacist assistant at Mullaney's Pharmacy.. Rob was an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor from 1999 to 2006. He was the Chief Assistant Prosecutor in the Juvenile Division for 5 years. While at the Prosecutors office he did work on the Gang Task Force, the Riot Action Task Force and it is believed that he still holds the record for convicting the youngest murder in Ohio history, a ten year old who along with his 13 year old cousin raped and murdered his eight year old sister.. In the legal field, Rob has also done work with Lexis/Nexis.. Rob's has been published in the Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy and the Cincinnati Bar Magazine. He was a law clerk and legal assistant in the publication of the book Sexual Harassment in Higher Education:Reflections and New Perspectives.. Rob has also worked as a substitute adjunct professor and an assistant adjunct professor in paralegal studies at the University of Cincinnati.. Rob left the Prosecutor's Office to work at the Farrish Law Firm in 2006. While at the firm he has focused his practice on DUI, Juvenile and Criminal cases. He is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and is certified to do the NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Rob considers his ability to assist his clients, in crisis, as the best part of his job. Finds fulfillment in his ability to serve. Rob has had a number of large media cases in his career both a defense lawyer and as a prosecutor.. Rob still volunteers his time regularly. He has served as an Elder and Session member at Covenant-First Presbyterian Church, a board member at Llanfair Retirement Community (Chair of Llanfair Human Relations Community), a member of the Presbyterian Child Welfare Association Property Board, Amberley Village Ward Chair, Amberley Village Precinct Executive, member of the Male Advisory for the Hamilton County Council on child abuse, been a Chase Law School First Year Mentor, mentored a student Mentee at Mt. Auburn International Academy, tutored at Vine Street Elementary and been a volunteer judge repeatedly for high school and college mock trial events.. Rob is the K6 Treasurer of the Booster Association at Summit Country Day. He served on their Alumni Association for years and was the president of that organization for two terms. He coordinates the yard markers for the varsity football games. He has coached his daughter's basketball team at Summit for years. Summit for Rob is "HOME" and he loves the time he is able to spend there.. Rob is married to Kelly, a teacher at the Fairfield 9th Grade School and the proud father of and his family own one dog, a boxer lab mix, and a black cat.. Rob loves college football and basketball and will tell anyone who asks that he bleeds blue because he is a Kentucky Wildcat.. Rob is passionate about his clients and their interest.
