Mark also served on the Arizona State Law Journal in law school, before graduating cum laude in the top ten percent of his class. Through his service as counsel in numerous appellate cases involving bad faith and punitive damages, Mark has helped shape Arizona law.. After graduating in 1987, Mark spent one year doing insurance defense work at a large Phoenix law firm, O'Connor Cavanaugh. He practiced on his own for two years before his brother Wayne joined him in July of 1990.
