Prior to practicing at King & Spalding, Ms. Burch practiced at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, where she represented clients in appellate litigation, product liability actions, legal malpractice litigation, and contract disputes. The clients she has represented include healthcare providers, global pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturers, a long term care pharmacy, local government entities, a soft drink manufacturer, automotive manufacturers, and manufacturers in a variety of other fields.. Ms. Burch graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law where she was on the Intrastate Moot Court Team and Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board. After law school, Ms. Burch clerked in the Superior Court for the Macon Judicial Circuit and for the Honorable C. Ashley Royal in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.. Ms. Burch is recognized leader in the community and among her legal peers. She is a member of the Leadership Georgia Class of 2014. She has been named one of Georgia’s “Rising Stars” in Business Litigation by Super Lawyers magazine. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Legal History Foundation and as its Secretary. She has been both a Pupil and Barrister in the Joseph Henry Lumpkin American Inn of Court. She has also been named to the Order of Barristers (for outstanding oral advocacy).. She is on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society. She serves as the Treasurer of Georgia Supreme Court Justice Keith Blackwell’s election campaign and on the Board of Directors of Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Dillard’s re-election campaign.. Ms. Burch also enjoys volunteering in the community. She currently serves on the Sustainer Advisory Council for the Junior League of Atlanta. She has previously served as Chair of the State Public Affairs Committee for the Junior Leagues of Georgia, on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Atlanta, as Vice President of Community Outreach for the Junior League of Atlanta, and as Chair of the Political Affairs Committee for the Junior League of Atlanta..
