I also serve as an Arbitrator in the Mandatory Arbitration programs for King, Kitsap, Thurston, Mason, Harbor, and Clallam Counties.. Prior to becoming an attorney, I was an officer in the U.S. Navy. While a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), I drove ships, managed weapon systems, supervised refueling and small boat operations, inspected engineering plants, oversaw government contracts, taught ROTC, and coached sailing.. I'm a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and I have a masters degree from Fordham University and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
