Amie C. Peters is dedicated to helping workers understand and litigate workplace injury cases. Currently, she helps workers with Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Defense Base Act and Jones Act/maritime workers' cases. Amie also handles cruise ship, car crash and other personal injuries cases caused by someone's negligence.  She is not currently taking Washington LNI workers' compensation cases.. Amie is an active member of the Washington State Bar.  She is licensed to handle cases before all courts in Washington State, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.. Amie is very active in the legal community and works with a variety of organizations on access to justice issues.  From 2017 to 2018, She served as the Worker's Injury and Advocacy Law Group (WILG)'s national president, where she worked to improve access to justice for injured workers throughout the U.S.  She also sits on the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ)'s Board of Governors.  She was a founding board member and past-president of the DOL-Joint Bar Association, an organization aimed at improving legal procedings before the U.S. Department of Labor..
